Spectrogram??

Hmm...I just went to the doctor the other day because I've been getting a lot of really small pimples on my forehead which was most likely from B5. Anyway, my doctor asked me to use Spectrogram and he said to wash my face every other day with it. He said spectrogram has this really great drug in it that kills staph, which I'm figuring is the bacteria that resides in/on our pimples. Anybody had success with Spectrogram? Or maybe he don't know
**** about acne??

Re: Spectrogram??

Hi again Feline

Whereabouts in Canada are you located? I was put on Spectro Gram as well to treat what my dermatologist thought/believes is staph infection. I however, am not convinced. I have been on K-Flex antibiotic now for almost a year and a half and I find I will break out badly when I eat dairy and sugars. My breakouts are really nasty whiteheads all over my face. Particularly the nose, chin and around the mouth area.

Anyhow, to answer your question the Spectro Gram soap is GREAT! It's the best one I've ever tried. As I mentioned in my earlier post I'm using the NeoStrata products to see if I can clear my skin up some more. I was using Spectro Gram antibacterial wash and the doctor I'm seeing now warned me it's not good to use an antibacterial soap that long. I'm desperate to clear my skin up so I am trying her advice. At any rate, the Spectro Gram is definitely worth trying. It's very gentle and comes in different variations depending on your skin type. I find Walmart has the best prices.

Hope this helps,

Kim

Re: Spectrogram??

Well I'm from Vancouver :-))
Hmm...Well, I guess there's really nothing for me to do but give it a try. I would rather ask a dermatologist but here in Vancouver you usually have to wait at least 2 months before they can see you :-( In my case, the snotty assistant of my dermatologist gave me the only available appointment which is August 7. So I have to wait for.. let's see...hmmm...another 3 months. By that time my face would be wrecked beyond comprehension. Ain't life great?
