Aloe-Vera cream ingrediants

Thanks to the B5 my breakouts are now limited to a few whiteheads every few days which is no big deal, it's great not to wake up to any new big nasty pimples anymore!
However my face has been left with red splotches everywhere. I've read on this board people using Aloe Vera to help alleviate that.
I found a tube of "St Ives Aloe Vera therapy cream" that I purchased last year for dry skin laying around.
I was wondering if this would help my red marks or if any of the ingrediants would make me break out?
There's A LOT of ingrediants in it...they are:

deonized water, mineral oil, sorbitol, glycery stearate, cetyl alcohol, stearic acid, Triethanolamine, Aloe Vera, Dimethicone, Calendula extract, cucumber extract, horsetail extract, pansy extract, comfrey extract, elder flower extract, citric acid, diosodium EDTA, methylparaben, propylparaben, phenoxyethanol, Fragerance, blue 1, yellow 5

Will this make mattesr worse or help moisten my dry skin and improve red marks?

I think that skin cream will help you contains some of the herbs thatI read about which speed of the skin healing process---give it a try.I also read that using creams containing those herbs, (horsetail, comfrey, aloe vera etc.) you need to apply to affected areas 3xs a day....
