    Retin-A micro..1 month in

Well, it's been a month since i first started using retin-a micro, it worked wonders at first, but now, my skin looks, if not as bad, worse...i still get break outs like only on my cheeks, it sucks! Any recommondations of other products? Topical preferably, i have moderate acne...

Hrmm...really? Well i'll take your word on it, the thing that sucks though, my skin still is red from it and still periodically flakes, and no matter how much moisturizer i put on, it still gets bad, and it hella sucked one day, i was at school, the morning i put moisturizers on like i normally do, then all i notice is people staring at me, i thought they were just staring at my pimples or whatever, but then in the p.e. room i go to a mirror and checked myself out and i looked ABSOLUTELY HIDIOUS! Everyone was all "What's that sh*t on your face?" seriously and then others would have the nerve to say that, and i told them, dry really sucks having acne <IMG SRC="">

hi kevin, my 17 year old son is using retin a micro and has been for 2 months. it is a drag because his face is so red, broken out and painful looking. he uses a lotion in the day to keep the dryness under control. have you talk to anyone else that has used it longer and started to see better results after a period of time? we were told that his face would definately look worse before looking better but.. come on, how much can a guy take without feeling whipped!! let me know.

Hey, well, it says that an initial breakout will occur, but that's when u first start using it for like 2 weeks...I hear that it should start really kicking in in about 2 months, according to another person on this board...But i really can't take it, im tired of this red, irratated skin that just causes more breakouts, i think i may end up switching over to bendamycin or tazorac, since i've heard a lot of good things about them..
