Help!...adult acne back with a vengeance

I have had bad acne since I was 9 yrs old. My very fair skin has always been oily. Once I reached my twenties, I was able to get it under control.

Lately, I have been breaking out in many small bumps all over my face and neck, my skin is very dry with a layer of oil and is constantly itchy.

Any suggestions?

I'm with you, but I have no idea what to do... so I'm forced to just sit back and hope for the best.*

Is it acne you now have or is it an allergic reaction to maybe laundry detergent or a perfume or soap? The little bumps and fact that thier itchy makes me think it could be a rash, not acne.

Wouldn't hurt to switch soaps/laundry detergents for your clothes. I even heard someone say they got acne from their washing machine not working right - the soap wasn't mixing well with the water and it was somehow getting infused with the clothes.

Sounds like balony to me, but..whatever you want to believe

It's definitely NOT a rash, although that thought did cross my mind...Nope, they're definitely zits...they pop...blah!

I ordered the Proactiv kit, made an appointment to see the dermatologist and I'm taking zinc and B-complex vitamins. I'm determined to get this fixed once and for all.

Geez...I'm 27 and feel like 17 again! <IMG SRC="http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/wink.gif">
