  • shrimp bad?

    shrimp bad?

    i like shrimp a lot, but i know they have iodine and i heard that can be bad for skin.. anyone know about this... also what foods in general do you stay away from.. I cut back on dairy but thast about it for now.. i still wont hesitate to eat pizza with tons of cheese on it. doesnt seem to do anything to me.

    Yes, unfortunaely shrimp does contain quite a bit of iodine, so I would steer clear from it or eat in moderation. Any foods with iodine (salty foods, shell fish, certain veges) also nuts (peanut butter for me especially) cause skin to breakout in some people. I also try to stay away from dairy, only using milk in my cereal and I too eat pizza, just not that often. I also try to stay away from processed sugar as that seems to increase my breakouts. Right now I am about 99% clear. I am taking a lot of vitamins and using Carley's Clear and Smooth.
