Scrubbing makes indent bigger?

hey!
Ive been scrubbing my indented scar for about a month, but I notice after scrubbing, the scar might even appear bigger. it is a pretty shallow indent, but it still looks bigger after scrubbing it. has anyone else noticed this when they scub? has anyone noticed results from scrubbing indents?
