Yes my lactic smells like vinegar. My CP Serum smells fresh like shampoo actually, I can't really smell any pepermint.

I don't know where you got your lactic/CP Serum, but it's always possible that they could have diluted it some I guess.

How many peels have you done so far? My instructions said I could leave the lactic on for 7 minutes and do a peel 2 times a week.

Whoever that was talking about 70% and only leaving it on for 1 minute must have been talking about glycolic acid.

I just ordered some of that lactic (50%) peel and CP fom that homepeels site - but it'll take a few weeks to get to me.

I didn't like the glycolic peels when I had it, so hopefully this stuff is better.

    Hi Maya,
Did you buy the glycolic acid from the same site as you bought the lactic and the serum?

No, I didn't - I actually had them done at a beauty salon - around 10 of them, weekly - and although my skin did seem softer (not enough for the money I spent!!) - It broke me out - maybe it wasn't the glycolic that did that though. I'm not sure what strength that was, but it was made by MD Formulations, and the therapist started me on 5 minutes and built up to around 15 minutes on that last peel.

I wish then that I knew you could buy the stuff do it yourself at home!

Hi, sounds like you ordered from the same place I did. It comes with "whipped camphor cleanser" sample that's good to use everytime before you do the peel because some cleansers can make the peel not as effective, plus its a large enough sample to get you at least 20 or more washes. Another sample I got that I didn't know i was getting is the "Cucumber Ice sorbet mask" I didn't use this till i was up to leaving the lactic acid peel on for 5 minutes, the mask hydrates and cools your skin so it's pretty nice to use after a deep peel.
