Please share your Vitamin B5 experince. I know there's gonna be more negative feedback than good, cuz who looks up acne when they don't have it? But i want to know if B5 works. So if you've given B5 a fair shot, 10 grams for more than a month let me know if it was good or bad. Thanks!

I used B5 for 5 months. I think that was a fair shot. I was religios about taking it, never missed a dosage.

It did not work for me. By the time I quit the B5 my skin was SO dry, on my whole body. I had hairloss on my calves (I know, a weird locale), and also huge whitehead pimples on my calves at the same time. :/ My face was super dry, and I was getting these red irritated marks (some with tiny whiteheads in them). They were very odd 'pimples', but they looked terrible because they were so RED! I was also getting these red, vein like items on my cheeks...only thing I could find that it resembled was rosacea. I am NOT saying B5 caused this for sure, but since stopping, I no longer get these on my cheeks.

I stopped the B5 1.5 months ago after tapering off it. My face is still super dry, and I am now trying just using a little Cetaphil to wash. I get pimples still, but at least they are the pimples I expect, not the rash like items I was getting.

Oh, and since then, the hair on my legs is growing back. And no more acne on my lower legs. I was losing weight on B5 also...and luckily that has stopped since I quit taking it.

Everyone's response to B5 is different, and this was just mine. Not trying to spook anyone, just be aware of your body. No matter what anyone says, there is nothing 'natural' about taking huge amounts of B5. Keep a log (that's what I did) so you can monitor any changes.
