HELP: Dry, Acne Prone Skin

Hi!
For the last couple of years I have had a bit of acne. My chin and left cheek are the big target zones now and I have blackheads on my nose.
My skin is pretty damaged due to the really harsh water where I live and I've tried a lot of products. The skin around my pimples tends to be pretty dry.

I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING- short of medication.
Ponds, Cetaphil (dried my skin out terribly), ProActive, Murad, PCA Skin, Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash, Burts Bee's Night Hydration Cream, and homemade mask remedies.

I do everything you'r suppose to do; I wear mineral make up, take it off in the evening, moisturize in the morning and evening.
I've also never found a spot treatment that works because everything dries my face out.

Also, I go to school in upstate new york, so the winters are pretty harsh

Hi there. This COULD be the mineral makeup. Im allergic to it and every time I try it, break out in blackheads and pimples. Try eliminating it and see if it helps.

Also, many of the products you mentioned have alcohol in them as a main ingrediant. Make sure you are avoiding alcohol which is drying, but also mineral oil, which is clogging! Moisture does not mean oil. Find an oil free moisturizer and stick with it, while trying a different makeup. Make sure whatever you are cleaning with is also oil free.
