Blue Lungs

I had a bronchoscopy and saw the pictures. My lungs were blue, like really blue....you could see pink too but it was almost like it was stained or dyed blue. My pulmonologist said he didn't know what it was but that what he thought it might be I don't have....can't remember what he called it.....so I have been trying to find out what can cause this but haven't found anything. Anyone here have any ideas? This was a 3rd test done for a nodule in my lung that they suspect for cancer but so far I test negative for that and negative for everything else.....so this blue lung thing had me curious. Please let me know if any of you know what this could be?
