My doctor just started me on Concerta, and I've already been taking Lexapro (as well as Diovan for HBP). I'm just a little concerned, are these meds okay to mix??

Re: Concerta & Lexapro
They are. Lexapro is anti-anxiety and Concerta ADHD and somepeople need both.

Re: Concerta & Lexapro
yeah. ADD meds and anti-depressants usually mix quite well (except for Strattera since it really is an anti-depressant labeled for ADD).
I've been on Prozac for nearly 3 years and have been on Adderall XR 20mg for 3 months. No problems. When in doubt ask your doctor or better yet your pharmacist.

Re: Concerta & Lexapro
There should be no problem. Ritalin primarily effects dopamine and mildly increases norepinephrine levels, while Lexapro increases seratonin. I take 5mg of Focalin 3x daily (just a stronger version of Ritalin) and Cymbalta 60mg ED and have had no problems.
