Strattera Flu
hello. I have been taking 36mg of Concerta for close to 2 years, and the effects started to wear off, so my doctor added 10mg of Strattera to mix.

So far, the combination works well with concentration, and I really like how strattera works for the entire day, BUT...

The side effects are BAD, very bad. I feel so sick. The side effects im experiencing are

body aches
throat hurts

I just feel horrible, I have to take Tylenol just to be able to function somewhat normally.

I called my doctor today and left a message about this.

My question is, How likely are these side effects going to go away?

Re: Strattera Flu
I decided to stick it out for a few more days on the strattera, and I noticed the side effects started going away. Today I felt fine, pretty much back to normal. And the best part is that it is almost 2am, and the medicine is still working. Unlike the stimulant medications that wear off, I like the fact that I dont have to wait for my next dose to continue working.

so far, now that the side effects have went away. I like the strattera. But the side effects are horrible at first.

Re: Strattera Flu
I had to get off of strattera, the side effects got really bad. It made me really depressed after i recovered from the flu symptoms. I have taken many prescription drugs in my life, and strattera has by far the most side effects. Im very surprised it is FDA approved.
