    Ritalin/Concerta and Low WBC count?

My doctor is concerned because my last CBC showed a low WBC 3.3 (normal range 4.0=10.5). She's blaming the ritalin, although all my other tests were really good, and 6 months ago, my WBCs were fine at 4.6.

I googled it and couldn't find anything that says ritalin is bad for the WBCs.

This is a new physician for me and I don't think many of her patients have ADD. She wants to find me an alternative med, but I've been very stable for about 10 years.

Any advice? Has anyone heard that ritalin affect the immune system?
