    Suboxone/buphrenorphine detox fail

    Any advice, I went 14 days detoxing off buph and couldn't take anymore, went Back to taking 4mg daily. Quit at 24mg prior. Help. ! Want to quit, how long is the fatigue, rls, insomnia during w/d period?

    Take it slowly, get down 10% at a,rate that suits you....plan it out....get down to 0.25 mg before you jump.
    Even Jumping at 2mg you're sure to be a victim, a casualty, a loser with a plan.
    And back where you are now

    Agreed. A slow taper is really the best way. Otherwise you'll be too sick.

    The reason you couldn’t take anymore Buphrenorphine is because it has a celiing of 22-26mg. A ceiling means that once you reach that dose, the drug has no more effects, you’ve reached the maximum peak of effectiveness for it. It seems that it is not an effective drug for you. Taper yourself slowly off of it then maybe ask your physician about using suboxone or methadone to help with your withdrawal symptoms. Everyone has different symptoms and reactions, so it is hard to say how long your fatigue and sleeplessness will last. Good luck.
