I've been on Stadol NS since 1991-began getting shots for Stadol in 1985 for migraines. I've decided it's past time to get off this stuff because my tolerance to it is way too high. I need to know what to expect from withdrawal & how to make it easier. I also have Vicodin and was told it could be controled by taking Vicodin. HELP!

Re: Stadol Withdrawal
Hey Maw,
I have seen lots of advertising for migrane meds. I would look into something that is non-narcotic. There are a lot of people here who's lives were taken over from vicodin. Be very careful.

Re: Stadol Withdrawal
Stadol is used for acute pain...meaning pain that is intense and goes away...(labor and delivery) not for chronic pain...which is what he has you on, maybe you could ask him to taper it and change it during the taper?
Not sure what WD symptoms would be from that...do an internet search on the drug. Katrina
