    Hi Soodle:

You bet you can. I've used this drug and, from all of my research, the withdrawals are similar to hydrocodone.

Are you on it right now? If so, how much are you taking?

Tapering off seems the best way to go. I'm aware of a successful hydro taper that required 5 mg drops every week (60 mg per day dose starting point). That works out to be about an 8% drop per week from the start. It grows to a higher percentage during the taper, but it doesn't seem to make much difference to the patient.

BTW, my nurse practitioner friend told me about this taper. She used it on her addicted husband, and it was successful. He gave me the feedback on how it went, and said it wasn't bad.
