olfactory hallucinations

After 11 years of sobriety, I relapsed for a year. Now sober 6 months. I have some familiarity with post acute withdrawal and the fustrations it poses. Cannot explain why I smell things occasionally that just aren't there. Most are not pleasant such as cotton candy/sugar, chlorine, mennen after shave, and mechanics grease.
Sometimes my head feels like there are styrene balls being moved about in it and sounds like it too.
I do not feel depressed. Mostly frustrated these days. I expect that it is because of unanswered questions like this, lack of work and isolation. I don't mind being around people but find it hard to interact.
Any one have insight on this?
