7days xanax free. Withdrawals = dizziness, anxiety, shortness of breath, but starting to feel much better.

Smile 8 days no Xanax :)

This is part of my continuous update on my xanax tapering/weaning. my last dose was 8 days ago. I have completely dropped xanax since then. By tapering in smaller decrements i can assure you the withdrawal is bearable and nothing severe except in the initial stages when it takes a bit of getting use to. Each time when i dropped to the next lower dose, the symptoms will repeat and no new ones turned up. The intensity of the symptoms is always the same. So all it need is getting use to it and tolerate.

Since I dropped the drug 8 days ago, the following is what i experienced:

    (1) Dizziness - occurs in flashes once in a while but lightheadedness occurs more throughout the day. Its sort of like the feeling we get after 1 or 2 beers. Nothing serious except have to watch your step getting over staircase. Driving is not a problem but suggest limit most to day time.

    (2) Light sensitiveness - moving from a dark to lighted or vice versa can give flashes of unsteadiness. So when you move from one lighting to the other wait in the other area for a while and acclimatize your eyes and steady yourself.

    (3) Sweating - occasional, usually when there is anxiety but not for long period like i used to when i was tapering the dosage.

With the exception of the above, all other symptoms do occur but in a mild and infrequently that sometimes i dont notice them. I assure you that there is no noticeable psychological changes or symptoms after i dropped the xanax completely. Feel fine, perhaps feel better than when i was treated with xanax.

So folks dont give up. Take it easy, rest, tolerate and take your time

    Wonderful news indeed.

Keep doing what you're doing because it's obviously working.

Do you have a plan set in place,as a "just in case" measure?

Happy and Healthy Holidays To You.
