does growing thick black hair mean anything??

at the begining of what i had (still waiting for the 24 hour urine test for cortisol), my hair was kind of coming off with almost no effort, also the hair on my head is getting kind of softer. and im growing now thick black hair, does this mean anything??? its kind of black to the root. you know how hair normaly has a white root, well, this hair im growing is black to the root.

what is going on???
