| Anybody out there a caretaker?
Hi. My husband of 20+ years was diagnosed with adrenal insufficiency a year and a half ago. Since that time our lives have been a roller coaster of drugs, doctors and complications from his disease. At this point, he's not able to drive on a regular basis and has had to forego working altogether.
On a really bad day, he's in almost constant pain, while being horribly exhausted. We have good medical care and an army of doctors (endocrinologist, cardiologist, GP, pain management, etc) but still he's at a point where I'll need help taking care of him at some point in the future.
I'm wondering if there is anyone else out there who is a caretaker for a loved one with adrenal insufficiency? I would really like to share stories and hopefully trade solutions on how to work through the care-taking aspects.
