    Adrenal Insufficiency and High Testosterone

I have adrenal insufficiency and was just advised by my doctor that my latest labs came back that my testosterone was extremely elevated. I am a 49 yr old female, normal blood count should cap out at 48, mine came back at 133! I have been having issues with my adrenal insufficiency lately and am awaiting an MRI on my pituitary, I am just wondering if the high testosterone might not be caused by the adrenal or pituitary issues? Anyone have any experience with a similar issue?

Thank you in advance for your help, as getting answers for this has been most challenging! Getting appointments with endocrinologist in my area is near impossible and takes forever, no matter how urgently you need to see them. I can't get in until August 31.
