Adrenal Adenoma

Hi
I hoping someone can tell me more. I have been diagnosed with an adrenal adenoma, I haven't had a second CT scan yet, so they don't know if it is benign or not. The CT is scheduled for November. I have been feeling very achy, I have hypothyroid and am not able to get my TSH balanced. I am sweating all the time, going bald and have gained a ton of weight, probably about 50lbs in the last year. It hurts so much to move. My Rhuemetoid doctor said I have Fibromyalgia due to my thyroid not being under control. I have an appointment coming with an edocrinologist to see if she can help with the hormone balance and thyroid. Anyhow, a lot going on. Has anyone had an adrenal adenoma that was cancerous and if so, what did the doctors do for you? Also for anyone who had a bening adrenal adenoma, what do they do for that?

Re: Adrenal Adenoma

I had both. On the right was malignant, the left benign. It's actually not common for malignancy. 99.9 percent of the time they're benign. I had to have the right one removed, and we're just keeping an eye on the left to see if it grows. I would be surprised if yours is malignant. I was even more surprised when mine was. Keep us posted.
