    Adrenal insufficiency?

I got an ultrasound of my thyroid this past summer. It said i had a "multinodular goiter", a "thyroglossal duct cyst", & one nodule plus some changes to the left lobe since last time i had the ultrasound of thyroid done which was 10yrs ago(i was 16 at the time now im 26, almost 27). Last March my TSH was 0.60...& now my TSH is 1.4. I am not sure about my t3&t4 at the moment bc it wasnt tested this time around for some reason & i cant remember what they were last march. Anyway, my dr ordered a thyroid nuclear scan/RAI uptake. I got that done 2wks ago and the results say 37.4% which indicates overactive thyroid. Now i have been very lethargic my enitre life. I am VERY spacy, cant pay attention(even to movie or TV), its like i am stuck in my own head all the time and like im not really "living"...like im on autopilot. Its no way to live. I did HORRIBLE in school bc of it bc i cant comprehend or process information. I am "slow"(to say the least), unmotivated, depressed..etc. I was diagnosed with Inattentive ADD/SCT(sluggish cognitive tempo), But i REALLY want to find the underlying cause & find the ROOT of the problem so maybe there is a chance of fixing it rather than just continuing to take my Adderall xr 30mgs(been on it for 9yrs & its the only way im able to function as a semi normal human being..it allows me to focus and concentrate and FEEL things/emotions) just to MASK the problem(But until the underlying porblem is fixed i NEED the adderall to function normally). Anyway, I also just got my ANA tested and it showed up Positive(i went tanning beforehand..idk if that causes false positives or not?), & my RNP was slightly elavated, but barely(1.1). I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia 5yrs ago so my dr blew most things off and blamed it on the fibro until recently(the last 2yrs) my health got progressively WORSE & I'm so weak, tired, confused, forgetful, depressed, muscle spasm, joint pain, muscoskeletal pain(around the wk leading up to my pd my whole body feels bruised) & I have horrible PMS(PMDD). Anyway, my question is, Is it possible that my thyroid is overactive right now due to weak adrenals? I forgot to mention I did all 3 of the "at home tests" for weak adrenals(scraping fork on skin to see if white lines turn red within 10secs:FAILED..they dont. Took BP while sitting then upon standing and its lower when i stand. & just started doing the temp 3 times a day at same time everyday so ill let u know how that one goes). Any advice or information u can give me would be greatly appreciated..THANKYOU!

    Re: Adrenal insufficiency?

I have no idea if you have it; however, my insurance paid for a series of 4 salivary cortisol tests throughout the day and that would tell you if your adrenals are involved. Really simple test. I forgot to say that Genova Diagnostics also has the testing. I got mine through LabCorp.
