The answers are CAUSES. Maybe she meant:
1 bags under eyes, dark circles;
2 double chin;
3 creases nose to mouth next to nose (nasal labial folds);
4 liver spots;
5 lack of brightness to skin;
6 thin lips and lips that turn down on the edges;
7 nose tip turns down.
I"m sixty four and I have #1, 2, 4 & 6. |

I had the bags under my eyes removed and also the upper eyelids done. The surgeon also very slightly tightened the area across my cheekbones. I am thrilled with the results as I think the surgery has made me look a lot younger. In fact I think my eyes look better now than they did when I was younger (and I always got compliments about my eyes).
Now, whenever I see anyone with eyebags I try to imagine them without them. I think they are the number one thing that makes a person look old.

JOON, I bet you look fantastic. I'd love to have that done but any PS that I went to would notice the skin hanging under my chin ; it's worse than my eyes . But then you're looking at a full facelift which has a big chance of looking fake. I Rarely read of anyone having their eyes done who are not thrilled. Facelifts are a different matter.

My advice: Maintain a good steady weight throughout your life.

My mom has smoked her whole life, she's 54 and looks quite young.
I think it's because she is very cheerful, sprightly, energetic and happy. She smiles a lot and she is just a very sweet person.
People always think she's my sister (I'm 30) and they can't believe she's in her 50's.
Personally, when I see someone who's facial expressions are depressed, sad or angry it makes them look a lot older then when they look carefree and happy.
I've seen some people in their early 20's who look older than a person in their 40's or something because of their countenance.
I wish so bad my parents would quite smoking for a number of reasons, but they have to want to quit etc..etc...

| Yes, I know. Smoking is an addiction that killed my father...unfortunately love of family and fear of death isn't enough to stop an addiction.
Take care.

Hi negot,
About too much sun is not right.
Whenever I am on the beach I have sunbath 4-5 hours (it is my best medicine) and look younger than I am.
I have other problem: there are diseases that can make older. When I have pains (very strange) I look as my age is. If I have no pains, people think I am 20 years younger.
That is also the reason, I am looking for people they have the same pains, like I have: muscle spasm all over neck, face and head: sinusitis and atypical trigeminal neuralgia.
From other side: I don't smoke, drink very rarely and eat healthy food.

I think sun makes us look younger when we are tan...but ultimately puts years on your life. I live in FL and you can tell the women who never used sunscreen, it has opened my eyes!
