Thirdhand smoke ruining my life
Whenever I'm in a house or car with secondhand or even thirdhand smoke, I become ill. I get a severe sore throat/nasal congestion, fatigue, brain fog, and chills which lasts for about 2-3 days. My nonsmoking friend recently got a used car and it is full of thirdhand smoke from its previous owner. Whenever I ride in it, I immediately feel sick. Another problem is going to my bandmate's home for band practice. He no longer has a car, so I’ve been practicing at his place. His roommates smoke in the house which affects me.
I feel like the only cure is if I wear a hazmat suit everywhere I go. Allergy medications have proven useless over the years. Any ideas?
