    Re: Zyrtec Question

I've take one every day for years. I have year round allergies and take 3 shots a month. I'm always asked at the shot appt if I've taken my antihistamine that day. On shot day I take a Xyxal in the morning and a Zyrtec that evening because of how my arm swells and itches from the shots. All this is to say - yes, you can stay on it as long as you need it and can even take 2 per day- per my immunologist and the pharmacist.
