Question New to SINGULAIR! What should I expect?

I am new to Singulair... for my allergies.

I have horrible allergies.... my nose is always clogged up and it drips down my throat and sometime causes severe infections.

I have tried Allega, and Claritin and they didnt help. My insurance only covered Zyrtec one month and then it stopped and I dunno why but it covers Singulair.

Now today was my first day on Singulair and I was told it takes 3 weeks to kick in.

So has anyone had positive experiences with Singulair?

Singulair is a leukotrine inhibitor. Claritiex, Allegra and Zyrtec are all antihistimines. In my opinion Singulair works best when taken with an antihistime. I take Zyrtec with Singulair. But I do feel the Singulair helps a lot. For me, the Zyrtec was not quite enough.
