    Singulair??

Anyone have any luck taking singulair for their allergies?? I have been on everything and nothing seems to work.. Some pills might clear my nose, but the side effects are not worth taking the pill. Looking for relief!!

I tried Singulair for a while too. I couldn't stand it. It made me feel too loopy, and I started having strange dreams at night, when before, I had no trouble sleeping at night. I'm glad it's helped some people who have taken it but it certainly didn't help me! I couldn't function when I was on it.

Singulair didn't help me much.. it was a secondary med given to me to take on top of Allegra, especially since I have allergy related asthma.. I went off it.

Singulair didn't help my allergies and it was really expensive. It made me really tired. I stopped taking it eventually. 'Waynoiam', what kind of medications have you taken for your allergies?

It helps me a lot. But I take it on top of my Zyrtec.

I have taken everything.. Right now I take a claritin a day which does nothing.. If it does something i don't notice. I have tried all the nose sprays and all the pills (i think all haaa).. Just not sure what to do anymore!!

    Re: Singulair??

Have you tried either Allegra of Zyrtec? They are both better than Claritin IMO. Both prescription only. Also, I found for me that a combo of Zyrtec, Singulair, and Flonase nasal spray worked best, much better than Zyrtec alone. So if you haven't yet, try a combo of medicines.

Have you tried taking the Zyrtec at bedtime? That is what my doctor told me to do, and it works out well.
