    Gadolinium allergy

I recently had an allergic reaction to the contrast agent used in an MRI (gadolinium). I had trouble breathing, hives, itching, etc. Aching in joints started the next day. Just kind of a general "flu" feeling.
My question is this: Are there any other foods, drugs, etc that might be related which I should be avoiding? I can't seem to find much information on gadolinium allergies, other than they rarely occur. Hope someone has some insight!

Did your symptoms ease up since the MRI?
