Unhappy Treatment of Mold Allergies symptoms after moving..

    Hello Kind people,

I had a severe allergic reaction to indoor mold and I have stopped sleeping in the room and am planning to move out as soon as I can. I am feeling a little better. I want to know are there other people who recovered from memory loss, irritability, dizziness, concentration problem etc. after they moved out to a new place? I am really worried, would I ever get better, really?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated in helping me with this.
    Thank you.

After you move detox your body. There are a ton of body cleansing products at health stores. You may want to also try an antifungal product.

I recently delt with a similar situation. We moved out of our moldy house at the beginning of January. I have had some ongoing problems, but my sinuses and chest congestion have improved a lot since we moved. Because of chronic fungal infections as a result of the mold, my doctor put me on Diflucan for 4 weeks. It is usually used for yeast infections, but it kills other fungal infections systemically as well. It worked and I have been feeling better.

I think that the sooner you are out the better. Give yourself some time to recover and it will get better once you are in a clean environment without mold. My allergies have been worse for a while because of the mold exposure, but I have definitely improved a lot over the last month or so.

    Good Luck,
    Jen

Re: Treatment of Mold Allergies symptoms after moving..

    hi great88,
I moved out of my apartment on Dec. 08 2006 after it sustained water damage on sept. 29, 2006. In that length of time I became very ill almost to the point of dying there. I had to call 911 one night after trying to leave out the utility closet search for the sources of mold that was causing me to be so sick. I found it. But in look i stirred up mold spores and that was enough to cause heart palpatations and acute exacerbation of my asthma that I had not had trouble with unless I had a cold or upper respiratory infection. I have been to the emergency room since that move out date at least once every month since then. I have been under a pulomonary specialist, PCP, and cardiologist due to the affects of the mold. I have now added another physician a allergist to the equation. I am taking numerous medications including 4 breathing treatments aday. I just finished round # 7 of prednisone which is another story all by itself. I am doing better, but the damage the mold caused is really scarey. The allergist says it could take 5 years or longer to desensitize me from the mold and hypersensitivity I have from living in the mold. It is a long way back to recovery but the MOST HIGH is still working it out for me. I hurt all over and when the allergy test was complete they found Candidias Albicans as part of my problem, along with Penicillium, just to name a couple. I don't have my papers on hand right now to write it out my diagnoses. But I am slowly getting better that is for sure.
And I hope everyone will do the same or get better quicker.
