Calling Crazygrl777 question for you

hi. I read on the board here that you take Inositol for OCD. I have it too and would like to try it. Can you give me any advice, how you take it, how much, etc... I would really appreciate it! thanks Melanie in Mary

Re: Calling Crazygrl777 question for you

Hello Melanie-I would love to tell you what I do, but it really is a personal thing you have to find out. I take the powder inositol, I hate pills, but you can do either one. Whenever I am feeling super anxious, I put about a teasponn of the power in 8 oz of some kind of fluid, it doesn't matter what kind. Then you drink. Some people need more, some people need less, but you will figure that out along the way. I actually did a research project on this subject and I found out that you can take as much as 18g/day and the wonderful thing is that there aren't any side effects. Good luck.

Re: Calling Crazygrl777 question for you

Thank you. OCD is in my family. My brother has it bad, and I definately have it. I feel anxious as well. I just bought the inositol caps last night. I am still not sure, should I only take them when I feel anxious? Or on a daily basis? I guess I will figure it out along the way. Thanks for giving me hope.
