Could this be ALS?
Hi all,
I am a 26 year old female. No family history of ALS. I also do not want to come off as ignorant, I truly appreciate any feedback on my symptoms. In December of 2017, I started noticing some weakness in my left arm and leg. This was accompanied with headaches and head pressure. I saw a neurologist in early February 2018. He said migraines or MS were possible. However, my CT scan, neuro exam, and MRI came back normal. Which at the time, was a huge relief. My symptoms went away after about 1-2 weeks. However, it is now July 2018 and I am having similar symptoms (left sided weakness, head pressure, occasional lightheadedness ). It has been going on for about a week now. I have a neurology check-up appointment in 2 weeks which I will be explaining these reoccurring symptoms. Just wondering if this could be ALS? Or, if anyone has had any similar symptoms and was diagnosed with something else. Thank you so much!
