I feel tremor in my body, sometimes its my my hands where they are shaking and i can't really control it and sometimes its other part of my body, usually it goes away in a little bit

Re: could these be symptoms of ALS?

    1/7/2015

I am feeling really weakness in my joints and i feel pain in my knees

My face, mouth and jaw gets stiff and tight for hours. Lay downing helps sometimes

    I feel weak

I don't get hungry that much even after 12 hours of not eating or drinking anything

MY thyroid was a little abnormal body not making enough or something. I was given 25MG synthroid
MY Vitamin D level was 11.3(normal range being 30-80)
I am pre diabetic my A1C few days ago was 6.2. I use to take matformin 500MG but i stop taking it and i watch what i eat so my BS is normal now

I am really uncomfortable with my Jaw and face being stiff and tight.

Look i made a mistake of looking online for these symptoms and a lot of these matches ALS. I have asked 3 questions to your site and all 3 times i was told its not ALS. I saw a family physician and he even said its not ALS.

could this stiffness be due to stress or anxiety

Please try to look at my other questions and see if you can find out what it could be.

    Since i had A1C at 6.4
and my thyroid came back little abnormal(they were little off back in august when it did testing too, but my family physician told me its not much so don't worry about it. Now i did the test again and still not normal)
    MY vitamin D was 11.3

my Vitamin B12 was 218(200-900 being normal range) So does that mean 218 is on the lower end? also i read that Vitamin B12 test should be done fasting 6-8 hours but i did it right after eating

also could this be magnesium Deficiency?

I am really worried even my hand fingers are feel rough/stiff

Sometimes i get a tingling feeling in my feet

Re: could these be symptoms of ALS?

    1/8/2015

I was at my doctors office today and he did all my muscle test and hit me with small hammer on my knees and hammer to check everything

he checked my eyes and asked me to follow his finger
he checked inside of my throat and my face muscles

he made me stand on my toes(i could but unbalanced is it normal to be a little unbalanced?)

He made me stand on my heels and i couldn't without loosing balance, is that normal

but i could walk on toes and heels

    my 2 symptoms today are:

knees feeling weak and overall weakness and fatigue.

My face muscles sometimes feel tightness and stiffness
my throat area feels heavy, full, maybe like something is inside of it. I don't have trouble drinking water or eating

how does bulbar onset in throat feels or starts?

Re: could these be symptoms of ALS?

Bulbar onset usually starts with weakness of the tongue causing slurred speech or occasionally trouble swallowing. This trouble swallowing generally is with liquids but weakness or spasticity further down can cause trouble swallowing solids.

The something in the throat feeling is not associated with ALS but is common in GERD and other reflux related diseases and can even be felt with anxiety.

What does your Dr think is going on? It sounds like you have pre-diabetes, problems with thyroid and a vitamin D deficiency at least. Most, if not all, of your symptoms can be explained by a combination of those things, especially if you include anxiety.
