    Low ferritin, post iron infusion

I have had 3 iron succrose infusions and have blood work scheduled for 10/31. I am having watery diarrhea every morning. I'm still very tired. The cause if my anemia is post gastric bypass surgery which I had 6 years ago.
    When will diarrhea stop?
And how often will i need iron infusion?

Hi Iím suffering the same effects as you and I had my infusion three days ago? Have you been getting any chest pain or restless legs with it? I think I read that it clears up after a week but just keep an eye on it and let the doctors know if your symptoms worsen. Hope you feel better soon x

I do not have chest pain. I do have restless leg syndrome especially bothersome at the end if the day when i recline in chair but oddly feels better as soon as,i lay down. I probably have multiple issues going on as I also had my gallbladder removed last month. I stopped taking oral iron supplements as I wasn't absorbing it. All the above could be the explanation to this bothersome colon issue. I guess if it doesn't settle down by the time I have my labs tested then I'll discuss issue with my PCP.
If your having chest pain, please contact or see your MD.
