    what does it mean if you have high ferritin

    I had blood testing done and my iron level was high, it was28 umol/L and reference range is 9-27. Also, my saturation was .56 out of the reference range of .20-.50 . My worried part is my ferratin, I was 120 UG/L out of the reference range of 10-60 !!!! I was wondering what these results mean and if something is happening. Not to mention im still only 15, so is it normal or not?

    as of now that shouldnt be a problem with your ferritin but if it continues to go up you may have something else going on
