Caffeine and Anger

I am glad this board is here as I originally signed up on this board to deal with high blood pressure and addiction recovery.

I definately have had an anger problem my whole life. I have noticed that there are certain foods that exacerbate my problem with anger and one is caffeine. The more coffee I drink the more angry I seem to get throughout the day. I am not talking about a little irritability I am talking about blowing my stack over nothing and making a complete fool of myself.

Has anyone found that caffeine to exacerbate their irritability quotient?

Thank you,

Re: Caffeine and Anger

Yes I think it makes me more succeptible to anger and impulsive.I've reduced my anger by eating eating healthier taking vitamins, and cutting out sugar and bad foods. It takes time before you may notice a change in anger levels.
