Sorry for your loss. Losing a partner will devastate you in many ways. Chest pain is a symptom of grief. It will lessen over time. Meanwhile, keep a check on your existing heart condition. Sera

Re: chest pain since wife's death.

The doctors say my heart is very occluded (lots of blockages forming) i am on what they told me were referred to last chance drugs that at act to keep the arteries open.I would go to the ER but don't want to end up in the hospital for the funeral. Right now i have to take the valium more then prescribed. i told the doc that they had prescribed the 5mg for back spasms before and they did nothing for me.in one week i have gone through a bottle of 25 nitro and am working on another. I have taken three already this morning but the valium is kicking in now and i hope i won't have to take anymore.
