    anxiety and weight loss

I have been having health anxiety recently and have lost weight without eating less which is causing more anxiety..Is it true you can lose weight like that...10lb in 2 months?

It's definitely possible. Anxiety is soooo damn mentally draining, it's pretty much the start of the whole process... the weight loss, worry, loss of concentration on daily activities, and all the other symptoms your feeling is pretty much the result.

(been suffering anxiety on and off since being in my teens)

I've just gone through a few weeks of extreme anxiety/stress and lost 6 pounds. I guess because I haven't been eaten as I should . So most definitely it can happen

That sucks, I hope we all feel relief from our anxiety soon. I guess we have to try and take the next few weeks one step at a time, although I know it's easier said than done sometimes when the feelings are raw and affecting your concentration.

Yeah, hope you feel better tooo .

I wish I could relax, but I have finals coming up next week. However what has me more on edge is my health anxiety .

I believe will be fine though

I hope everyone is feeling better this week. I'm very on/off still, keep getting the shortness of breath and dizziness a lot. Nothing feels better than the moments when the anxiety disappears/goes away though, even if that's just for the remainder of the day. Luckily I have an appointment with my GP on Thursday morning. Keep on the mend you two
