    Some reassurance

So last night I have this big health anxiety freakout over Asbestos.

When I was a kid, I lived in a big old house that I am pretty sure had some Asbestos in the attic. It was wrapped around some piping. Of course I messed with it a bit, and I am sure some got in my lungs.

So 33 years later I am freaking out. So I did a little research (which isn't typically a good idea for people like me), but I discovered that

    1. White Asbestos is 500 times less dangerous than blue and brown.
    2. 90% of all Asbestos in the US is white.
    3. The white kind actually dissolves in your lungs, unlike the others.

The blue and brown kind had specific industrial uses, and are virtually never found in homes (or even schools, etc.)

So if any of you are freaking out about this particular thing, I think you can rest easy.
