    Brain Zaps

I am not on any anti-anxiety/depression medication, but yet I am still getting these brain zaps. They seem to come when I am anxious, but also when I am tired. It makes it really hard to concentrate on what I am going because I am afraid of them. That just makes the anxiety worse. I know everything I have read has said they are not harmful, but I'm still concerned (that's the anxiety talking). My doctor has said it is just anxiety, but I feel that once I was diagnosed with anxiety every symptom is said to be because of anxiety.

Does anyone else experience brain zaps that are not associated with being on medications?

    Thanks!

Not sure what you mean by "brain zaps" but you might look up Ice Pick Headaches and see if hey match. I have them and they are typically caused by stress so it would very well be what you have. My allergies also set them off. They just come and go so I don't do anything to treat them. You are correct that they are not harmful.

Thanks! I thought Ice Pick Headaches were very painful. These aren't painful just more unnerving.
