hold the cloth up to your mouth and try to breathe in, if size or starch has been used this may make a difference
generally light colored clothing doesnt show sweat stains badly
worth remembering that hot spicy food or sauces often makes you sweat more
with severe sweating, look for clothing made of towelling as this soaks up the sweat and still looks OK if saturated
a towelling hat will soak up sweat and can be used to mop the forehead |
Hi there,
i have suffered with excessive sweating as a secondary response to social anxiety for many years. I first started with sweaty palms, that overtime also became sweaty underarms.
So bad that i have basically lived my life in black clothing, which lowers my self esteem so greatly, because i like colours.
I have used an aluminium based roll on, which is great for sweating under the arms, have never used it on my palms.
Its a hard symptom to deal with,
I know people say that once you have your social anxiety under control, that the sweating will subside, but the problem is, i feel that i have made progress with my anxiety but the sweating i just cant seem to get on top of.
