    Question Can Buspar cause muscle twitches?
    I just recently started taking buspar for anxiety, now I am having muscle twitches that I never really had before. I know twitches can be a sign of anxiety, but they are really annoying, to say the least. I was wondering if anyone else experienced twitches with this med?

    Yep, mine was mostly my thumbs. Weird huh? They would start twitching, either one or the other and it would last for hours! It was so strange. Since off the buspar no more twitching!

    Yes, I think that it goes hand and hand. My legs would twitch and sometimes even my whole body would do spasms. Buspar and Gabitrol did the same thing for me. I had to get off of those.
