    I am thinking of asking my doctor for a prescription for Marinol. The drug has (apparently) done wonders for a couple of my friends I work with (who have anxiety (and the symptoms of anxiety, like sweating/faster heart beat/blushing/etc), depression & excessive sweating, ....).

    Can Marinol help with these symptoms? Or are my friends <WRONG>?

    Hi,

    I don't usually post here, but Marinol caught my eye. I have a friend who's been on it, but for cancer nausea. They are refusing to give it to her now.

    I don't believe it can be used for psych purposes. I may be wrong, but I don't think a doc would prescribe it for anxiety. But my friend has said that it made her just "slightly high" and ever so good and did relieve a lot of anxiety for her.

    Be interesting to see what your doc says!
