    Post anxiety dizziness fatigue

hi im 23 and here is my story:> im going to give you guys my information and story. feel free to right back with your similar story's. i have spent around 50 thousand dollars on test and some of the best doctors with top of the line insurance in America. SO PLEASE refrain from saying its basic stuff no offense the only basic analogy i could throw out at this point its anxiety and panic attack disorder no matter how irritating and discombobulating it is and all the above. there are to many complexity's beyond what modern science can produce answers for at this point and time. unless your are a huge CEO and go stay at john hopkins for a week or Cleveland clinic or even mayo. ive had the best of the best and every type of doctor you can think of and all the best test's.

so my panic attacks all started about 5 months ago. right before i went to sleep my left arm and jaw started to have a tingly sensation and i thought i was going to have a heart attack. i would take my blood pressure and it was (perfect). come to find out it was a bad side effect to a medication i was on at the time. (if only i would have known that at the time). i felt the sensations for about 5 days every nite before i went to bed. i was at a casino with my father in law and almost got into a fight with a drunken idiot (not my fault). so afterwards my hands got sweaty and clammy and started to feel cold and then my limbs started to go numb on the left side. thought of a heart attack occurred and the numbness spread tell it consumed me as i was praying for a miracle to save me or god as i was running every red light going 90 miles per hour towards a hospital getting tunnel vision and seeing floaters feeling like i was going to pass out. so i park my car in the road stumble towards the registration counter at the ER and told them i was having a heart attack. with a 190 over 130 blood-pressure they hooked me up to an ekg and had 2 doctors around me checking me out. soooooo it turns out that i was having a panic attack the ekg was fine they even ran a stress ecg at 4 in the morning which was unheard of. was fine. my blood work was perfect and they gave me medication to settle me down and my blood pressure went back to a perfect 120 over 76. BUT I DIDNT BELIEVE THEM

here is a list of test i have spent tons of money on!!!!!!>

    64 slice ct with dye
16 slice ct with and without dye
    7 x-rays
    7 ekg's laying
    stress ekg
    stress ecg
72 hours worth of holter data over a 3 month period of time

16 slice ct of brain with and without dye
    64 slice ct with dye
MRI of brain with dye and without
    2 eeg's
x-ray of head and spinal cord

ct with and with out dye 64 and 16

ct with and without 16 slice
    oscapy upper and lower

im not even going to make a list because it is way to long. and i have had a d-dimmir. i have an endocrinologist from Harvard that is very thorough

and that not all people thats just the major stuff

ok heres my theory and philosophy on the matter of the horrid anxiety. anxiety will trick you. you will focus on one symptom and it will ease up then another one will occur. it will lead you in circles second guessing yourself and create udder fear and frustration. thoughts that your going to die at any second drive this condition. it manipulates fear into your mind. and the enemy isnt the anxiety its yourself. the mind is a powerful thing. evolution did all these miraculous things and were just idiots screwing it up. so have self control and relax. get on an SSRI to counter act the faulty chemicals in your brain and try to have a stress reduced life. alot of anxiety can be brought on by acute stress syndrome.

    a better life
just run the important test like a stress ecg and a 48 hour holter. brain mri with and without dye and a eeg. get a mediocre bloodwork run up done. if all is well and white blood cell count is normal thyroid and oxygen levels in your blood are fine. you will be fine. dont run anymore test after that. instead go do yoga- meditation-trivia games-puzzle games- get out into the sun and relax. take nice warm baths-see the positive in life conquer your fears dont hide from them. you have to lose all sense of control. imagine yourself as a river you cant go against the stream you just have to go with the flow.

but the only thing that gets under my skin is that now i have constant dizziness. and heavy fatigue.

    take care all

    Re: anxiety dizziness fatigue

Thanks for sharing your story spacy! I'm sure it will help alot of people on this board. I myself, have had a few tests run to check my heart because I was convinced that I had something wrong with it that the doctors weren't finding. I also had the tingling on the left side, with heart palpitations and increased blood pressure that recently sent me to the ER because I never had the tingling with panic attacks before. They did an EKG, monitored my BP (which was up when I first got there) and did blood work. ALL normal. They gave me 1 mg of Ativan through IV and that really helped calm me. I also had the whole holtor monitor, echocardiogram, and ekg done about 10 years ago. All of that was normal too. My blood pressure was at a steady 140/90 for a while because of constant anxiety. It is now back to normal, except when I get anxious, obviously. I was diagnosed at 14 with GAD and Panic Disorder, i'm now 39 and STILL having the same issues. I just recently went back on Zoloft (3 weeks in) and I take xanax twice a day. I will probably stay on the Zoloft for the rest of my life now because every time I go off of it, it comes back about a year or so later. I was med free for 2 years and had something VERY stressful happen last year that sent me into a spiral of my disorders again, hence the journey down Zoloft Lane again. Anyway, I hope you are feeling better. Best of luck! Fox

Red face Re: anxiety dizziness fatigue

Wow. That's quite a list. I think I've had most of those symptoms at one time or another. Back in the 90's I had anxiety so bad I could hardly walk due to all the leg tension. I really felt like crap, just unreal weird sensations and feelings. People thought I was nuts. It was hell. Medication is the only thing that helped.

Did ya get your $50,000 worth?

    Re: anxiety dizziness fatigue

Hi guys sorry it took so long. Foxy I'm feeling for you. Stay on Zoloft it's not all that bad some People can not take ssri's and be fine. But for us with chemical imballences we will most likely have to stay on for a long period of time or even maybe the rest of are lives. Your story sounds alot like mine. I feel for you

Uh it's not Lyme because they would have picked up the bacteria through blood work at this stage to be causing all these syptoms. It's hard to pick Lymes at the beginning do to little amounts of bacteria. Unless it was attacking my brain or spine which you would be running fevers most likely in that case. and I live in Oklahoma the most rare state to get lyme's disease. And I've already done testing for all tick born illness. My blood work dr is very thorough.

The only thing that they have found is my vitamin d levels are low a ten whitch can cause alot of different things to happen to your body.

I'm getting rEady to have a month long holter done some pretty advanced stuff. The dr's think I'm stupid for doing it because of my work up.

Was the money spent worth it? Aww man I don't know if they find something ya but they most likely won't. I think my nerves are just all jacked up and that's some really tricky stuff

Well I'll try to post back faster in the future sorry if there's spelling errors I did this all from my phone. And story's are always welcome

Hi spacy. Anyway , i want to know how long did it take you to be totally free from dizziness..I can really relate to your problem..Now i can feel that i'm already recovering from my anxiety disorder which started 5 months ago. The first time it attacked me, i really thought i had an anemia... NOw the only thing that messes me up is my dizziness and feeling imbalance. Im having this dizziness for 2 weeks now..
