    Unhappy Can't accept it's anxiety?

    Hi guys,
This has been going in for months and I've seen so many doctors and nurses about my symptoms. They all seem to think it's all anxiety and so does everyone else I've spoken to. But I can't accept it! I've had a blood test a while back which came back with 'perfect results'.
    Symptoms I've been getting:
-Constant muscle twitches all over body (literally every place you can think of)
-tingling skin sensations- mainly in legs, but also in arms and all over body
-Burning skin sensations- more rare than the other sensations but I get this all over my body too
-Dizziness- I get dizzy really easily and have frequent lightheaded spells.
-Tiredness/generally feeling ill- lately I've been having this consistent feeling like I'm coming down with the flu but it's stayed the same
    -Eye floaters
    - stabbing pains/shooting pains- all over my body. Usually one place at a time.

It may be worth mentioning I'm a teenager And I'm a severe worrier. I went thought a stage of serve hypochondria. I even convince myself I have HIV to this day and I've never had sex. Only oral sex with my girlfriend who is a virgin... I convinced myself I caught it off of a toilet! I've also been down the MS, ALS, Peripheal neuropathy route. But I haven't got any weakness or loss of sensitivity... This could possibly be BFS but I worry what's causing BFS! I know anxiety can... please reassure me what the docs and everyone says is true! Is this anxiety?

Well since you've seen numerous doctors and they've all said the same thing, my guess is that it is anxiety. If you don't believe all of them, there isn't a person in here who will be able to convince you either. That's how anxiety works. The only thing I can really say is that I have anxiety, and have suffered every single one of those symptoms that you described.

Worried user: Please donít worry. As pb63 and db851 said, most likely, it was related to anxiety and panic attacks. I suffer from every symptom that you mentioned and also additional 20 other nasty symptoms. Initially I didnít trust my GP that everything was related to severe insomnia, anxiety, panic attacks and depression. I had seen several specialists and got all kinds of tests done to rule out any other serious issues. For the last three years, I have been on SSRI Paxil and most of my symptoms are under control. SSRIís are useful but terrible drugs with several side effects. Since you are a teenager, I feel that please donít get started on SSRIís or benzoís. There are plenty of natural alternatives (ex: magnesium supplements) available and please search Google to educate yourself and talk to your GP.
