    Msnik

    Didn't wanna hi-jack anyones thread.

    I'm doing okay.

March was extremely rough, the vision has some improvement, the color distortion has been gone for sometime.

The vision can still be wonky and the heat has become a big ENEMY!!!! The summer isn't even here yet.

Fighting chronic fatigue and meds don't seem to help.

The house is going good for the most part.I've been really busy going from the apartment to the house each day.

Having a hard time with the diagnosis of the adhesive arachnoiditis. Most DRS. don't like you researching any illness, mine told me to.To my amazement, many failed back surgery patients diagnosed with MS,later have a high chance of developing AA. AA has 5 grades to it.I'm at grade 5(extreme).

After much research AA is another mimicer of MS and many neuro's don't check for it,even though lumbar punctures can cause arachnoiditis--not the adhesive type.

I have lurked and read a few of the post, but with limited time,I havn't replied.

Everyone has been in my thoughts and prayers.

Hey Duttin, glad to hear you're doing better

Heat is a killer! I'm so thankful my mother said she's going to look to buy me an air conditioner as a gift when she's here in May for a visit. I spent last summer in 40-45C humidity, and had heat stroke as a result. That probably really hurt the lurking MS symptoms I was beginning to experience.

duttin, I tried searching unsuccessfully for your story about the fire. I am guessing you did post one? If you can link me I'd like to read it, since I missed the story (I was not posting on the forum at the time).

    Nenu,

Lordy I don't recall the title, but it was posted I think Feb. 5th I think.

Just breifly,we had a structure fire Feb.4th do to the fireplace. The home is

being repaired, the contractor is great. We lost all our contents,do to the

antique cedar walls sending off a methane smoke.

The blessing is no one was hurt,my children were in school and my dogs were

    outside.

The title could be STRESS, it sure put me in a relapse with my eyes, but all is

    healing now.

Stress can play a major role in MS attacks !!!!!!

I use to be here on the boards regularly, but my vision has kept me away.

I'll take a look, that's a shame you lost your possessions hun, but as you said, they can be replaced. This is why I've had insurance ever since I've been independent from my parents and renting/owning. I am just glad to hear that you got out ok, and that no one was hurt. It's unfortunate how many fires occur due to chimneys.

I don't believe the post/thread is still around, but you answered my questions. I feel out of the loop on some things here, because I only showed up the end of February on this particular forum. Still catching up! That is scary about the fumes set off by the cedar. Sorry to hear about it triggering a relapse with you, and that you're having difficulties with your vision since. Hugs
