severe scoliosis and clumping of the nerves

Hi, this is my first post. I have been suffering from low back pain and burning in the buttocks and my left leg goes numb for 8 months now. I can't walk much of a distance without the burning and numbess causing me to stop and lean or sit if possible. I went to see my PCP about it in March and he ordered an MRI without contrast with a DX of sciatica. The report of the MRI stated:
There is curvature of the lumbar spine convex to the left with rotatory component, which is similar compare to prior plain film dated Sept. 4, 2003. There is disc desiccation at all levels. There is some endplate degenerative changes and some loss of disc space, especially at L5-S1, left greater than right.
L1-L2-mild concentric disc bulge with facet arthropathy
L2-L3-minimal concentric disc bulge with facet arthropathy
L3-L4-Concentric disc bulge with crowding of the nerve root and some clumping of the nerve roots, some of which could be related to prior arachnoiditis. There is significant central canal stenoisis at the L3-L4 level, which is a result of disc bulge and significant facet arthropathy with ligamentum flavum hypertrophy. AP canal diameter is 5mm. There is significant ligamentum flavum hypertyopy.
L4-L5-Concentric disc bulge with moderate facet arthropathy.
L5-S1-Concentric disc bulge with moderate facet arthropathy. No significant central canal or right neural foraminal narrowing. There is mild to moderate left neural foraminal narrowing, and there may be some encrachment upon the exiting left nerve root at this level which would be related to far lateral component of disc bulge and facet arthropathy.
    1. Significant scoliotic curvature of the lumbar spine convex to the left, which is similar compared to plain film from 2003 with significant rotatory component.
    2. Central canal stenosis at L3-L4
    3. Multilevel facet arthropathy
    4. Possible left exiting nerve root encroachment at L5-S1
    5. Clumping of nerve roots, some of which may be related to significant scoliotic curvature, but could be related to prior arachnoiditis.
So, my PCP referred me to a neurosurgeon who stated that he would have to refer me to a special specialist, because he couldn't preform the surgery due to my severe scoliosis. He recommended that I should have ESI's to relieve my pain. I told him that it was due to the failed ESI's during childbirth that has probably caused this pain. Which there were 4 failed attempts because the anestheologist couldn't get it to thread, so he tried an additional 3 times. Turns out, my daughter was breech, so an emergency C-Section had to be preformed, which included a spinal block. By the time I left the hospital with our daughter, I had an inch long section of needle punctures on my lower back. That was 11 years ago. In 2003 my back started to burn a little, but I didn't pay much attention to it, as I have had back pain most of my adult life. Then in 2004, I started to have incontinence problems. This year the pain, burning and leg numbness was just too much to tolerate any more. So, I am still trying to work part time. I have been with the same company for 20 years, but now I am on restrictions from my Dr. and walking with a cane. I go to PM every month, take Morphine IR for long term and Narco 10mg as a BT. I am getting a second oppinion from a different neurosurgeon in Oct. I am only 52 yrs. old and I have an 11 yr. old daughter who needs me to be active with her. PM put me on Neurotin at first and I got so depressed all I could do was cry. If I wasn't crying, I was sleeping. Is there anyone else suffering from this?
