Re: Nerve root clumprd mri help???

Hi pain in ohio, Did the neurologist, internist, pm dr, or spine specialist confirm arachnoiditis? It can become so progressed like with me that the spinal fluid cannot reach the spinal cord nerves or cauda equina so basically my spinal cord is dying & i get to feel it! Thank God for my dr & the meds to control the pain, neuropathy, charlie horses but a new arach informed dr no, none found after a year of looking! I have had numb face, teeth, tongue, migraines, vision problems, unexplained dental probs that happened with healthy teeth, gums, bone, pain in cervical & upper thoracic spine, numb hands, always have lumbar pain like a deep, visceral, cord chewing, si joint probs, tethered cord, trouble getting urine started, numb feet, every sumptom in feet, pain, swelling, balance probs, "dead" toes, charlie horses, jerks like startled, leg nerve pain buttocks, thighs, calves, toes move unvoluntarily & All of these are listed as symptoms of adhesive arachnoiditis. We do have an arachnoiditis board on healthboards now! I wasnt told for 24 years, then on mri it said i had it, my mri is posted on arach board if you want to read it or see how its worded with arach, its titled "Want my MRI interpreted, please!" I think. What was the wording on your mri after amended? Ive been wondering about you! Hope all is great!

Re: Nerve root clumprd mri help??? wife has adhesive arachnoiditis. We are seeing a physiatrist in Dec. Do you have any advice on how we should approach the appt? i.e. type of questions? I do not believe the dr has any AA patients. We have been unable to find drs with experience dealing with AA. btw...we live in northern NJ. ..just in case you know of any drs in our area with experience.
