I have been sick and I am wondering if I need to keep pushing the issue with my Doctor or just except that I am sick and wait for it to get worse or go away. I am wondering if I need to be concerned about lymphoma despite what the doctor is saying. I have been sick for 7 months with symptoms of fatigue, pain in neck/throat, temperature issues, anxiety(not do to worry but my body is just deciding to be anxious) swollen neck, lymphnodes and recently itching.
I went to several doctors. My last doctor did a bunch of blood work, ruled out mono, allergies pretty much everything. His final thoughts were, I am just going to have to live with it. He said I did not have cancer because my blood test were fine, I was concerned because I have read that lymphoma can exist and blood test be fine. My lymphnodes are swollen all around neck, they have been for 7 months. They are not painful to touch but the swelling makes my muscles get tight in neck and hurt. I have one in the back of my neck that causes headaches, it is about the size of a grape it does not change. The last few months I have also been very itchy. It is not scabies, unfortunatley I know what that feels like. I find myself scratching my neck and ribcage during the day and at night when I lay down it is like the itch jumps around. I will itch my arm then my head will itch then my leg. Also a couple times when I have drank alcohol my lymphnodes hurt. One other strange thing when I am not taking B12 I get nerve pain, my blood test showed I had slightly high B12 in blood.
So should I even be concerned about Lymphoma? Is this probably just some wicked virus that won't leave my system? Also one other thing, does anyone know if swollen lymphnodes can affect the vocal chords?

Lymphoma is a cancer of a part of the immune system called the lymph system. There are many types of lymphoma. One type is Hodgkin disease. The rest are called non-Hodgkin lymphomas.
I would definitely see another specialist for at least a second opinion.

IMO, You are right to be concerned about possible lymphoma. The itching is concerning, swollen lymph nodes that are painless, and pain in nodes with alcohol consumption. Blood tests do not need to be abnormal. Vocal cords can be affected from pressure on the recurrent laryngeal nerve in chest, so a chest xray would be helpful. There are lymph nodes in chest that can press on that nerve. I would try to see an oncologist. Nodes that are over 1 cm should be biopsied if present over 1 month. A surgeon does this, but a referral usually is needed. You need to push for answers and advocate for further testing. If your PCP doesn't get it, bypass him/her and get to the right Drs. on your own.
