View Full Version : Necker Cube/Medical condition.

Hello, I've been experiencing something odd for most of my life. I'm not sure if it has a name and hopefully someone here can point me in the right direction.

So I take it we've all seen a necker cube. I use it as an example because it is the only thing I can compare it to. I view the world as a giant necker cube. Similar to the cube, the lines never move and everything remains exactly the same, but our perception can change. It can look as though we are looking at the bottom of the cube, or perhaps the side of the cube. When one perception changes the other is forgotten. What is this called when experienced with everything I see? Everything is in the same place, but it looks completely different.

Maybe the answer is simple but it's not something I could type into google. Thanks everyone!

Also, I've found something called multi stable perception, is this normal on such a large scale?
